Bellport
The production filmed its Kennedy family compound / Hyannis Port scenes in Bellport, Suffolk County, using a waterfront estate as the stand-in for the real Kennedy compound in Massachusetts. Production designer Alex DiGerlando confirmed that the Bellport property was altered with new wallpaper, furnishings, a flagpole, gate and white-pebble driveway; virtually all of the Hyannis Port material was filmed there except the dining-room scenes, which were built on a soundstage.
