Thank you Jason Sinaly who provided me with the following location information in February 2011 ~

“I know for sure they filmed the bank scenes on Rockaway Avenue in Valley Stream (I was in one of the bank scenes) and they filmed a lot of scenes in the convenience store across the street (also Rockaway Avenue in Valley Stream).  I forget the other locations they filmed in.  But they did film in the southwest Nassau area (sorry forget those locations)”
