Chosen will be screening at the Point Lookout Film Festival on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 in the 7 pm time block at ​J. A. Heneghan’s Tavern, 57, Lido Blvd, Point Lookout, NY 11569

It’s a family affair. Cathy Moriarty wins for Best Actress for Chosen (directed by Debra Markowitz, written by Shari Goldstein Umansky) and John Marean wins for Best Cinematography for Roxanne Alese’s , The Dancer. Congratulations to all the winners at The Brightside Film Festival. Great to see so many wonderful filmmaker friends! Ohhhh myyyyy goodddnnneess. – just won the Alice Guy (she was the first female director) Women in Cinema Award at the Golden Door International Film Festival for Chosen. Ahhhhhhh.
