Stanley Kramer

Celebrating Stanley Kramer's Centennial 1913-2013

Even though this website was created to showcase movies that were either shot on Long Island or just had some scenes shot on Long Island, Stanley Kramer's family and many others in Hollywood are celebrating his life and work. Many of us grew up being entertained and educated by this great filmmaker. And I think it is only fitting that I have a section of my website devoted to this great man and his films.

"One of our great filmmakers, not just for the art
and passion he put on screen, but for the impact
he has made on the conscience of the world."
-- Steven Spielberg
